SAFETY AUDITOR COURSE

A good safety program requires two basic elements to be effective:

  1. A recognized set of standards to follow

  2. A method to measure those standards through evaluation

Safety program audits evaluate both the functioning program and the management practice behind the health and safety program.

THIS IS THE THIRD OF FOUR COMPULSORY COURSES FOR PARTICIPATING COMPANIES

The Safety Auditor Course is designed to further develop your health and safety program through the audit process and increase the Safety Representative's safety knowledge and skills.

The course covers the complete MHSA audit document and audit process in detail and also provides basic auditing skills such as conducting interviews, proper writing techniques and audit presentations skills. Successful participants receive Proper Auditor Certification within the MHSA.

This two day course is the second of three compulsory training courses for participating companies. Safety Basics and Hazard Assessment & Analysis are prerequisites.
