With the increasingly multicultural workforce and the increasing demand for labour in the Alberta market, companies need to implement programs to address diversity.

Cultural diverse workplaces are a reality in Alberta. To manage successfully in a culturally diverse workplace, supervisors must add intercultural communications to their skill set.

This one (1) day cultural diversity course will explore the cultural knowledge, skills and awareness necessary to identify and overcome cross-cultural communication barriers.

Participants will look at unwritten expectations in the workplace through a cultural lens and using concrete examples participants will practice strategies for effective interaction in the culturally diverse workplace.
