This one-day course is intended for those working with or in the proximity of hydrogen sulphide (H₂S).

Class participants will learn the physical properties and the hazards of H₂S as well as learn how to protect themselves from the hazards and basic rescue techniques.  

Each participant will learn to operate a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), a detector tube device, as well as basic rescue breathing techniques on a safety mannequin.

Upon successful completion of the course exam and practicum, participants will receive an industry standard certificate valid for three years.
