Are you passionate about creating safer workplaces in Alberta? Do you have an eagle eye for spotting hazards and a passion for the well-being of others? If yes, then the Manufacturers’ Health and Safety Association (MHSA) is looking for you!
Location: At the heart of industry innovation in Rocky View County (near Balzac, AB)
Role:
· Conduct in-person safety training with pizazz, precision and care.
· Assist companies develop and implement robust safety programs.
· Train and empower employers and employees to prioritize safety.
· Promotion of MHSA services to employers
· Be the champion of a safety culture.
Requirements:
· Proven safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Excellent communication skills.
· A problem-solver with a proactive approach.
· Working knowledge of OHS and WCB legislation
· Overhead Crane, Rigging and Forklift experience
· Class 5 driver’s license
· Relevant safety designations (MSO, CRSP, etc.) considered an asset
