MHSA Testimonials

MHSA has had a great impact on Crossroads C&I Distributors Inc.

They have provided endless support during COR auditing processes resulting in enhanced safety knowledge and advocacy at all levels.

We rely upon them to provide excellent quality programs and training courses for senior managers, supervisors, workers, and health & safety employees.

MHSA has supported us through open communication, participation initiatives, and providing a wealth of knowledge and supplies.

We are proud to be a member of the MHSA and will continue to depend on them as a powerful and valuable resource.

The work we have done together has proven itself through knowledgeable employees and a cohesive safety culture.

MHSA has been a large part of North American Storage’s Health and Safety success through the continuous training and support MHSA offers their members.

I have personally been a member with MHSA since 2003 and have always enjoyed being a member.

They are always available to answer any question you may have regarding any training they offer and very helpful during COR audits. I have been a Peer auditor with multiple Certifying partners in the past, and prefer MHSA with the service they provide their auditors.

Through the training offered, our Management, supervisors and our Joint Health & Safety committee have a better understanding of the importance of a strong health & safety program and their responsibilities and accountabilities.

MHSA’s Train the trainer programs are great programs that have helped keep our employee training up-to-date as we have the ability to have a trainer on staff.

All staff members are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help.

The benefits of working with MHSA for our company has been better WCB premium rates, stronger safety programs which protects our employees, and winning bids with potential client jobs.

I began to take classes with MHSA for the purpose of creating a brand-new safety program for our manufacturing startup. I didn't know a Hazard assessment from a Pre inspection checklist, but through many of the online classes and in person lectures, I learned so much information and was able to get our company to a place where we are ready to challenge for COR certification.

A highlight for me would be the forklift training and Train The Trainer courses. John and the other instructor's go above and beyond to make sure the concepts are understood and applied in a correct and fair manner.

Knowing that my workers will be more aware and understand the fundamental safety protocols we have established, makes me at peace as a supervisor. I can be less stressed over the unknown because my staff are competent. Thank you MHSA!

Cratex Industries Ltd has been a member of the Manufactures’ Health & Safety Association since gaining our C.O.R in 2006. MHSA played a primary role in the improvement and certification of our safety program. This role has continued through the years as advances om safety swept through many industries in the attempts to improve worker safety in all aspects of the job. The benefits that Cratex Industries gained from this early role that Manufactures’ Heath & Safety Association played has been two fold.

  1. Vast improvement in the safety program as well as an improvement in safety organization and application of safety principles. This resulted in a reduction of serious injuries in the workplace.

  2. Strong safety programs are now required and assessed when responding to Requests for Proposals (RFP’s). This is critical in maintaining business relationships with business partners and clients. Also strong safety programs are required when taking part with agencies such as ISNetworld and Avetta. MHSA helps us in reaching these requirements.

The ongoing benefits that Cratex Industries gains from MHSA continues to this day. Training courses offered by the Manufactures’ Health and Safety Association including, but not limited to, such courses as Crane and Rigging, Incident Investigation and Safety Basics are a staple in Cratex’s continuing improvement and carry a significant positive impact in our health and safety program.

The Manufactures’ Health and Safety Association also supports Cratex Industries in the continual education of our employees by supplying to us guest speakers with presentations on topics which we request for the benefit of all our workers. Some recent topics have included hearing conservation and the importance of preventing hearing loss and workplace stressors, workplace violence & Harassment. These have been excellent presentations, have been well received, and have had a positive impact on our employees.

Cratex Industries Ltd looks forward to continued relationship with the Manufactures’ Health and Safety Association as industry is now moving into the realm of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and how that will impact workplace safety.
