This month we would like to highlight Hot Work
Hot work activities pose a substantial work site hazard because they introduce open flames, sparks and high heat that can easily ignite combustible materials.
These hazards can cause serious damage to equipment and property as well as significant personal harm if not properly controlled. Effective management of hot work, including permits, proper isolation of materials and fire watch requirements, is essential to protect workers, maintain operations and prevent costly incidents.
Recognizing and controlling hot work hazards by following appropriate protocols reinforces our commitment to safety and ensures we return home safely at the end of each day.
