Overview

A Solution for Alberta Manufacturers

Manufacturing Safety Officer

The MSO designation is widely accepted by Alberta’s manufacturing industry. Many employers are now encouraging their safety professionals to obtain the MSO designation. Elevate your health and safety career. Enhance your professional credibility. Become a Manufacturing Safety Officer (MSO).

The Manufacturing Safety Officer (MSO) program was created in response to the growing need for expertise in the Manufacturing health and safety profession. Our program is designed for health and safety professionals who wish to elevate their health and safety career in the manufacturing sector. You will develop the competencies needed to boost your career and most importantly to create a safe and healthy workplace. Our program combines classroom training with valued work experience.

Manufacturing Safety Administrator

The MHSA also wants to recognize those in the industry that are working to make a difference, but who are not in a dedicated health and safety role. Don’t have safety experience? Still want to pursue Health and Safety? The primary objective of the Manufacturing Safety Administrator (MSA) program is to provide entry-level safety training for an administrator of a health and safety coordinator who does not have a minimum of three years experience. If you are one of these people, we welcome you to discover the Manufacturing Safety Administrator (MSA) certificate program.
