Fire Extinguisher Training

If a fire breaks out at your workplace, the ability to properly use a fire extinguisher could prevent a small fire from becoming large and causing significant damage. You’ll learn all the basics for fighting fires with our fire extinguisher training. Participants even have the chance to put their skills into practice with a live fire.

PPE Required: N/A, wear comfortable casual clothing - Closed-Toe Shoes

For safety reasons, all participants are required to wear closed-toe shoes during the course. Sandals, flip-flops, open-toe footwear, and high heels are not permitted. Participants who do not wear appropriate footwear may be unable to participate in certain practical activities.

Note: Please dress comfortably and be prepared for hands-on training exercises.


Course Description

This ½-day practical course is intended to give workers a basic understanding of the physical characteristics of fire and the safe use and limitations of portable fire-fighting equipment.

The course uses an environmentally friendly BullEx® Intelligent Training System (ITS) that provides participants with a controlled live fire to extinguish.


The ITS can automatically vary its flames by detecting the trainee’s technique, providing a very realistic training experience. This course includes classroom instruction and video demonstrations as well as the hands-on training component.
