What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll be a trusted partner to MHSA members by:

‍ ‍

  • Facilitating MHSA courses in-person, virtually, or on-site

  • Coordinating training schedules and supporting program delivery

  • Leading on-site consultations, inspections, hazard assessments, and safety presentations

  • Promoting MHSA services and building strong relationships with member companies

  • Responding to member inquiries with accurate, timely information

  • Traveling across Alberta (shared use of company vehicle or mileage reimbursement provided)

  • Supporting special projects and initiatives that advance safety culture

What We’re Looking For

‍ ‍

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in occupational health and safety (manufacturing or related field)

  • Education: OHS certificate or equivalent education/experience (MSO/MSA designation and MHSA Auditor certification are strong assets)

  • Skills:

    • Confident communicator and public speaker

    • Strong facilitation skills (in-person and virtual via Microsoft Teams)

    • Tech-savvy with MS Office Suite and online platforms

    • Independent worker who thrives in a team environment

  • Extras:

    • Overhead crane, rigging, or forklift experience is a plus

    • Knowledge of Alberta OH&S Act, Regulations, Code, and WCB policies

    • Environmental safety experience is an asset

  • Requirements: Valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean driver’s abstract
